The first Gathering of the year will be on Saturday, July 18 at 5:30 pm, Hoskins Park.  Please see details on the Events page!  Meet all the new neighbors!!

******The annual Steak and Lobster Dinner WILL NOT be taking place on Saturday, July 25th- we feel it is not safe to have such a large gathering this summer.  BUT…there will be a family campout in Stevens Park the weekend of July 24-25.  See the events page for details!!

We also are planning on a decorated golf cart and bike parade- keeping safe distances, of course!  (can’t you just see the steak and lobster themed golf carts now???). We even have an idea for a very collectible tee shirt this year.  We’ll keep you posted as we get closer!******

The kids Sailing and Tennis Camp will not be taking place this year- but we will try to find some activities to replace it with.  Stay tuned!

Longtime OHC resident and past OHC President Bob Griffin recently passed away at his home in South Carolina.  Our thoughts are with his wife Nancy and his family- Bob was a great spirit and will be sorely missed by all.  He did so much for the club over the years, especially in caring for the club beach.  He will be lovingly remembered.

The Easter Bunny made a visit to Saunders Point, touring the neighborhood in a golf cart, dancing and shaking it’s cute little tail while putting Easter candy in kids waiting baskets.  See photos and more on its visit on the Club News page!

We will be posting a tentative 2020 social events calendar shortly so your summer planning can start- stay tuned and stay healthy!!

Photos on Event Photos page!

The annual Events Calendar will be posted on the Events page….check it out and make sure you save the dates!!!!  We will have lots of fun planned for everyone in the family.

The golf course, bocce court, basketball court and playground are open for business!  These areas, along with the parks and open spaces, are great places to have fun during the warm days.  Enjoy!!!  And remember that your donations and dues keep these spaces mowed and maintained by your neighbors volunteering their time.  Check the Club news page for clean up dates.

You can now find the 2019 OHC membership form and an appeal for new members on the Membership page.  Your dues accomplishes much more than you realize….the money helps maintain open spaces and keeps trees trimmed for a safer, more valuable neighborhood.

AS WE ENJOY THE SEASON, REMEMBER A FEW IMPORTANT THINGS….KEEP YOUR DOG LEASHED,  BE NICE TO EVERYONE, ONLY FLAT-SOLED TENNIS SNEAKERS ON THE TENNIS COURTS, CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR PET, DRIVE SLOWLY AND WATCH OUT FOR KIDS, BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY- HAVE FUN!!!

Saunders Point is located on the Niantic River, nestled between Smith Cove and Niantic Bay with access to Long Island Sound. Saunders Point offers its residents a charming New England water front community, where generations of families come together and create memories that will last a lifetime.  The Oswegatchie Hills Club is a neighborhood social club for residents of ‘The Point’ and offers its members the use of clay tennis courts, a basketball court, a beach with swim raft, 6 hole golf course, children’s playscape and more.  Many social events throughout the year keep members, both young and old, busy and well-fed, with the summer highlight being the annual Steak and Lobster Dinner.  The Club connects generations and ensures a fun, active summer for all!
